Xûr is an Agent of the Nine. He is a wandering vendor that appears on weekends, selling primarily Exotic items.

Location

Xûr appears on Friday daily reset (1700 UTC) and disappears on Tuesday daily reset. When he is present in the game, Xûr can be found in one of the following locations, where he will remain until he leaves:

The Tower — When he visits the Tower, Xûr can be found in the northwest corner of the Hangar, near some metal stairs to the left after entering the main hangar area.
EDZ — When he is on Earth, Xûr can be found on a cliff in the Winding Cove, next to a downed Fallen Skiff, to the north from the landing zone. A tunnel in the cliff wall will lead to him. It is also possible to climb the cliff by jumping.
Nessus — When he comes to Nessus, Xûr can be found in the Watcher's Grave, on the large tree directly across from the landing zone.

Unlike other vendors, Xûr's current location is not marked by a map icon, so it is not possible to tell where he is through the Director or Companion app. Community-run websites that list Xûr's current location include light.gg and Where is Xûr.

Wares

Each time Xûr arrives to one of his favorite spots, he offers four Exotic items: one weapon and one piece of armor for each class. As of the release of The Witch Queen, he also sells the Exotic Hand Cannon Hawkmoon with randomly rolled perks. This weapon requires ownership of the Beyond Light expansion in order to purchase it. He sells seven random Legendary weapons and a full set of Legendary armor. His wares, armor stats and weapon perks are determined randomly each time Xûr appears in a location and remain the same until he departs.

- Can be bought only once a week (twice with an Exotic Cipher), account-wide;

Legendary weapons — 1,000, 50 each;
Legendary armor pieces — 1,000, 50 each;
Hawkmoon (random perks) — 125,000, 200, 1 Exotic Cipher, 1 Ascendant Shard; requires Beyond Light.

Quests

Xenology — Rewards an Exotic Cipher. Repeatable weekly.
- Note: The quest must be completed within the same weekend it was acquired, claiming the reward before Xûr leaves, in order to reacquire the quest in the following week. If the Cipher is claimed from Xûr in a later weekend, the quest will not appear in Xûr's inventory again until the week after.

Exotic Weapons

The following list is the pool of Exotic weapons that Xûr can sell from. Each week, he will sell one Exotic weapon. These weapons can also be obtained from Exotic Engrams, including the ones that Xûr sells. Note that this does not include Hawkmoon, which is available every week and is separate from this pool.

Certain weapons may require ownership of a specific expansion in order to purchase. These have been marked below. All other weapons are available to all players.
