Exotic Armor is a powerful category of equipment that features unique abilities. Some of this armor may be acquired through decrypting Exotic Engrams while other pieces are rewarded for completing quests or public events. Note that due to their unique benefits, only one piece of Exotic Armor may be equipped at any given time.

Blastwave Striders (Perk) - Gain resistance to your explosives. Defeat targets to charge this armor. Once charged, slide or deal explosive self-damage to rocket jump backward and blast deadly shrapnel projectiles that spawn Stasis crystals on impact. Charged rocket jumps grant Frost Armor.

Overflowing Light - Using an ability (grenade, melee, or Barricade) empowers the other two abilities. Empowered means abilities have faster regen, melees and grenades do more damage, and Barricades have more hit points.
