Overview

Curse of Osiris brings a new story campaign and a destination, Mercury, where Brother Vance serves as a vendor and the new Vex Crossroads Public Event can be found.

After the completion of Curse of Osiris story and Mercury adventures, the player can unlock Heroic adventures in this zone, which can be played to obtain Lost Prophecies verses. These prophecies can be completed by consuming certain items which can be obtained through gameplay or exchanged with Vance, and give the players specific weapons. Completing all of the verses will unlock a world quest.

Leviathan, Eater of Worlds is the first Raid Lair in Destiny 2. Like Raids, Raid Lairs feature puzzles, challenging enemies and exclusive loot, but are designed to be shorter.

Legendary weapons and armor can drop as or be upgraded to Masterworks. Masterworked weapons track the number of enemies or Guardians killed with them, generate Orbs of Light on multikills and gain bonus points in random stat.

Faction armor and weapons can be purchased for Legendary Shards and Tokens from most faction vendors. All five armor pieces are always present, while weapons rotate weekly. This gear has to be unlocked by claiming a certain amount of Engrams from the respective faction.

Banshee-44 sells Legendary Mods for Mod Components and Legendary Shards, his stock changes daily. Xûr sells Fated Engrams which contain an Exotic weapon or armor of the character's class that they have not obtained yet. Master Rahool sells Engrams with random Legendary items.
