Season: Shadow and Order (also known as the Shadow & Order update) is a major content update for Destiny 2, released on June 9, 2026. Rather than a full expansion, it is a sandbox-focused update that complements the Renegades expansion, and forms part of the game's 2026 content.

Overview

Shadow and Order continues the seasonal model with its own Rewards Pass and updates to the game's sandbox. Originally planned for earlier in 2026, it was delayed to June 9, 2026 to allow for additional revisions.
