Season: Ash and Iron (also known as the Ash & Iron update) is a major content update for Destiny 2, released on September 9, 2025 during the The Edge of Fate era. It forms the second half of Season: Reclamation, replacing that season's premium reward track and challenges with its own Rewards Pass and challenges.

Overview

Ash and Iron introduced the Monument to Seasons Past, a kiosk in the Tower that lets players acquire cosmetics from expired Season and Rewards Passes. The update also brought back the Plaguelands, added a new activity, and included new Exotic gear and an Exotic mission. It is part of the Year of Prophecy.
