A Dream of Dragons
The door to the Pale Heart remains locked. And in the wake of our endeavor with the Hive, an ancient mystery turns our gaze to the Dreaming City, to the last of the Ahamkara, and to the place of the Fifteenth Wish.
The key to the Pale Heart cannot be taken. It must be granted.[1]

The release date for The Final Shape expansion, along with the end date for the Season of the Wish, has been delayed from February 27, 2024[4], to June 4, 2024. Additional content will be released to bridge the gap.[3]
The Fireteam Finder matchmaking system is targeted for full release in late January 2024. A raids stress test for the feature will take place on November 30, 2023, from 9 AM PST to 5 PM PST, during which all raids that players have access to will be available in Fireteam Finder. This will be followed by a beta period, which is expected to begin some time in December.[5]
The Dreaming City weapons have been re-issued with new perk pools and an Origin Trait.[6] The Blind Well has also been updated, increasing its overall difficulty and allowing players to launch it from the map icon.[7]
A catalyst for the Thorn Exotic Hand Cannon has been added.[8] It can drop from Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit activities.
The Citadel Crucible map has been returned to the game from the Destiny Content Vault.[2]
Banshee-44 can now focus Gunsmith Engrams into specific foundry weapons, replacing the 6 weapons sold by him each week. This includes Omolon, SUROS, Häkke, and VEIST World Loot Pool weapons released from Season 16 to Season 19. Currently, only two foundries will be available for focusing at a time, rotating each day.[9] Gunsmith Engrams can now drop when completing Lost Sectors. Legend and Master Lost Sectors can drop a selection of newer world pool weapons, excluding those released in the newest season, with Master difficulty dropping weapons with an additional perk in either the third or fourth column. These weapons are divided into smaller pools that rotate daily.[9][10]
Players can now access their Vault from orbit. Several Ghost Shell mods have had their energy costs reduced. Master Rahool now allows players to convert an Enhancement Prism into 5 Enhancement Cores up to 3 times a week.[11]
All Legendary and Exotic Sparrows now have two selectable speeds: one that matches Always on Time, and one that matches the Sparrow's highest possible speed before this season. These Sparrows have also had their health raised to match Always on Time.[12]
Legendary Shards will be removed from the game with the release of The Final Shape. In the Season of the Wish, Legendary Shard costs have been removed from the Monument to Lost Lights, with all other costs remaining the same. Ritual vendors, including Commander Zavala, Lord Shaxx, Saint-14, Lord Saladin, and the Drifter, have had Legendary Shards removed from their focusing costs, with the remaining prices being adjusted.[13]
Items themed after The Witcher series of games are now available for purchase from Eververse with Silver, through a collaboration between Bungie and CD Projekt Red.[14]
Overview
The Seasonal Artifact is the Queensfoil Censer, which provides Artifact Perks and additional Power. The seasonal vendor is the Spirit of Riven, located in the H.E.L.M.
New seasonal activities include Riven's Lair, The Coil, and the Starcrossed Exotic mission.[1]
A new dungeon, Warlord's Ruin[15], was released on December 1, 2023. It requires ownership of the Lightfall Dungeon Key to access.[10]
