Warmind is the second DLC expansion and the third Season in Destiny 2.

Introduction

Golden Age satellites slam into the surface of the Hellas Basin on Mars. Icy glaciers thaw, revealing the core of the Warmind Rasputin – and an ancient Hive army, bent on its destruction.

Changes

Vault space increased from 200 to 300. Emotes are moved from the Vault to the Multi-Emote item on character equipment screen. Multi-Emote allows the players to configure all four Emote options at any time.

Heroic strikes now feature rotating modifiers. At any given time, 3 of them are active on the Heroic strikes playlist:

• Elemental Burn (weekly rotation);
• Advantage (daily rotation);
• Disadvantage (daily rotation).

Items can now be dismantled directly from the Postmaster and the Vault.

Overview

Warmind brings a new story campaign and a destination, Mars, where Ana Bray serves as a vendor. The new zone houses the special horde mode Public Event, the Escalation Protocol, where players fight off waves of Hive with a boss at the end that can drop Legendary weapons and armor.

Leviathan, Spire of Stars is the second and last Raid Lair in Destiny 2, available in the Warmind expansion.

Some Exotic weapons can now be Masterworked with Catalysts, which can be found in various activities and slotted into a weapon to give them stat bonuses or additional properties.
