Decrypted Cache Key is a consumable key item used to open the Wave 7 boss chest in Escalation Protocol on Mars. This key represents the final step in accessing IKELOS weapons and Escalation Protocol armor rewards from Rasputin's armory.

Overview

The Decrypted Cache Key serves as the primary reward mechanism for Escalation Protocol's most valuable loot. Created through a multi-step process involving Rasputin Key Fragments and wave completions, this key ensures dedicated players can access the activity's exclusive weapons and armor. The key system was designed to provide a clear path to rewards while maintaining the challenge of completing all seven waves.

Acquisition Process

Step 1: Collect Rasputin Key Fragments

Obtain 7 Rasputin Key Fragments from:

  • Heroic Strikes: 1-2 fragments per completion
  • Heroic Adventures on Mars: 1-2 fragments
  • Nightfall Strikes: 3-7 fragments
  • Raids: Variable amounts

Step 2: Create Encrypted Cache Key

Step 3: Decrypt the Key

  • Complete Escalation Protocol waves
  • Each wave completion lights one segment
  • All 7 waves light all segments

  • Key automatically converts to Decrypted Cache Key
