The Pirate Crew screen.

The Star Chart offers Crew Upgrades that can be purchased with Repute. Each upgrade costs 1 Repute. Repute can be earned by completing certain Seasonal Challenges.

Available by default:

Hire SCUR-V the Servitor
Summon the Servitor crewmate from their pirate banner during Ketchcrash and Expedition missions. SCUR-V grants you slightly increased reload speed while they're in combat.

SCUR-V also unlocks armor focusing, allowing Umbral Engrams to be decrypted into Season of Plunder armor once it has been added to your Collections.

Available after unlocking 1 upgrade:

Captain's Share
Earn bonus Glimmer at the end of Expedition.

Available after unlocking 3 upgrades:

Focused Weapon Spoils
Grants the ability to decrypt Umbral Engrams into Season of Plunder weapons once they have been added to your Collections.

Available after unlocking 5 upgrades, including Hire SCUR-V the Servitor:

First Mate SCUR-V
Promote SCUR-V the Servitor to First Mate in the Captain's Atlas to get improved buffs while they're in combat.

Double Perk Weapon Spoils
The first time you focus a Season of Plunder weapon each week, it will roll with Deepsight Resonance and an additional selectable perk.
  • Note: As of version 6.3.0.7, Double Perk Weapon Spoils guarantees Deepsight Resonance on the first weapon focused each day instead of each week.[1]

Available after unlocking 9 upgrades:

Double Plundered Umbral Energy Map
Unlocks the Double Plundered Umbral Energy Treasure Map in the Captain's Atlas.

Available after unlocking 11 upgrades:

Bargain Armor Spoils
The first time you decrypt an Umbral Engram into Season of Plunder armor each week, it does not consume Plundered Umbral Energy.

Hire Halsiks the Sniper
Summon Halsiks the Sniper crewmate from his pirate banner during Ketchcrash and Expedition missions. Halsiks grants you slightly increased precision damage while he's in combat.

Also unlocks the ability to occasionally find Treasure Coordinates on defeated combatants.

Available after unlocking 1 upgrade:

Unlocks the Rotating Expedition Armor Map in the Captain's Atlas.

Available after unlocking 3 upgrades:

Weapon Treasure Map
Unlocks the Rotating Expedition Weapon Map in the Captain's Atlas.

Available after unlocking 5 upgrades, including Hire Halsiks the Sniper:

First Mate Halsiks
Promote Halsiks the Sniper to First Mate in the Captain's Atlas to get improved buffs while he's in combat.

Earn bonus Treasure Coordinates by completing ritual activities with other Guardians who have Season of Plunder access.

Plunder Windfall
Occasionally earn Plundered Umbral Energy by completing strikes, Crucible, Gambit, and other activities.

Available by default:

Hire the Skiffblades
Summon the Skiffblades crewmates from their pirate banner during Ketchcrash and Expedition missions. Grants you slightly increased melee damage while they're in combat.

Also unlocks a random bonus reward when you emote with your crew at the end of successful Ketchcrash and Expedition missions.

Available after unlocking 1 upgrade:

Floating Debris
Increases the chance to earn Season of Plunder gear by completing Ketchcrash missions.

Available after unlocking 3 upgrades:

Magnetic Drill
Increases the chance to earn Season of Plunder gear from the chest at the end of Expedition missions.

Available after unlocking 5 upgrades, including Hire the Skiffblades:

First Mate Skiffblades
Promote the Skiffblades to First Mates in the Captain's Atlas to get improved buffs while they're in combat.

First Mate buffs:
  • Increased melee damage
  • Faster melee ability recharge

Available after unlocking 7 upgrades:

Hidden Compartment
The first Ketchcrash mission completed each week rewards a weapon with Deepsight Resonance.

Available after unlocking 9 upgrades:

Precise Cartography
Increases Plundered Umbral Energy found using Treasure Maps.

Available after unlocking 11 upgrades:

Rumored Treasure Map
Once a week, you can use a Treasure Map your crewmates heard rumors about.

Rank

Complete Ketchcrash and Expedition missions to increase your Savvy.

Players can increase their rank with the Star Chart by gaining Savvy, which is rewarded when completing Ketchcrash and Expedition missions.

Umbral Focusing

Basic Spoils

These engrams do not require ownership of the Season of Plunder Season Pass to purchase them.

Armor Spoils

The Hire SCUR-V the Servitor upgrade is required to focus Umbral Engrams into seasonal armor items. An armor item must be unlocked in Collections in order to purchase it.

Weapon Spoils

The Focused Weapon Spoils upgrade is required to focus Umbral Engrams into seasonal weapons. A weapon must be unlocked in Collections in order to purchase it.

Quests

Bounties

During the Season of Plunder, the Star Chart offered 4 daily bounties and repeatable bounties.

As of the start of the Season of the Seraph, these bounties are no longer available for purchase.

Daily

The Star Chart sells 4 daily bounties for 250 each, with one randomly chosen from each category. They each reward XP+. Some bounties can only be completed in Expedition or Ketchcrash. Others can be completed anywhere, but will grant increased progress in Expedition or Ketchcrash.

The Star Chart offers repeatable bounties for 3000 each. They each reward XP.

  • 6.2.0.7[2]
    • Fixed an issue where the Deepsight modded weapon from the Hidden Compartment Crew Upgrade wasn’t appropriately refreshing at the weekly reset.
    • To alleviate some of the pressure in acquiring Season of Plunder weapon patterns, the Double Perk Weapon Spoils Crew Upgrade will now give you a Deepsight modded weapon the first time you focus a weapon each week. Note: this change is not yet reflected in the upgrade description in-game.
