Cryptic Quatrains I is a Legendary Quest from the Season of Plunder. It is obtained from the 
Small Treasure Beacon, which is rewarded for reaching Rank 7 with the Star Chart vendor in the H.E.L.M. This quest is followed by Cryptic Quatrains II and Cryptic Quatrains III.
Each step of this quest presents the player with a riddle to solve. In-game, keywords in the quest step descriptions are highlighted in a golden font color, hinting at the solution. Solutions to the riddles will be included in the Notes sub-sections of each step on this page.
1. Cryptic Quatrains I
Interaction: Star Chart
You find a hidden switch on the side of the Treasure Beacon. You press it, and from a hidden compartment slides a piece of parchment covered in messy handwriting.

- Travel to Eventide Ruins on Europa. Near the entrance to Riis-Reborn Approach, a pair of large hooked cranes are sitting on top of some buildings. One crane is holding a square platform in the air. While standing on the platform, look around to find a small mound marked with a green Eliksni symbol. Interact with the mound to complete the quest and obtain the reward.
- Before completing it, the quest displays the following item as the reward:
Buried Treasure
- Obtaining at least one
Crude Cipher Fragment causes the 
Crude Cipher to appear in the 
Captain's Atlas.
