Riven of a Thousand Voices is an Ahamkara — a wish-granting, dragon-like creature — and was long believed to be the last of her kind. She is the final boss of the Last Wish raid.
Biography
Riven once served Mara Sov and the Awoken, and her wish-granting power helped shape the Dreaming City. When Oryx invaded, Riven was Taken and bound to his will, later passing into the schemes of Savathûn.
Through Savathûn's manipulation, Riven's corruption spread through the Dreaming City. Even her defeat became a weapon: as she died, her final wish locked the Dreaming City into a recurring three-week curse.
Last Wish
A fireteam of Guardians hunted Riven through the Keep of Voices and slew her in the climactic encounter of the Last Wish raid, the first raid of the Forsaken era. Her heart had to be carried to the Techeuns to truly end the threat — but her dying wish ensured the city's curse endured.
