Imp is a Vex enemy. They are tiny Vex constructs that operate as a coordinated swarm.
Overview
An Imp Swarm is a cluster of small, highly mobile machines that act as matter decomposers. When the larger lead unit is destroyed, the remaining Imps charge in and detonate on impact, so clearing them is not always the end of the threat.
Combat
The Imps attack with Arc emitters and, once their lead is gone, with suicidal charges.
Strategy
Destroy the lead unit to expose its core, then sweep up the remaining Imps with area fire before they reach you and explode.
