Shank
Information
Race Fallen
Precision Spot None

Shank is a Fallen enemy. They are small flying drones the Fallen use for fire support and reconnaissance.

Overview

Shanks are cheap, semi-autonomous machines fielded in swarms to flank Guardians and bypass cover. They have no precision weak spot, so high-rank Shanks can be surprisingly tanky, and they can gain a Solar shield in harder content.

Combat

A standard Shank fires a rapid Arc turret. Specialized models include the kamikaze Exploder Shank, the sniping Tracer Shank, and the heavily armored Heavy Shank.

Strategy

Sweep them with rapid-fire or area weapons before they surround you, and match Solar to break any shield.
