Dominus Ghaul is the commander of the Cabal Red Legion and the primary antagonist of the Red War, the base campaign of Destiny 2.

Biography
Abandoned at birth and left to die, Ghaul was taken in and raised by the Consul, a disgraced figure who trained him to one day seize the empire. Ghaul rose through the ranks as a gladiator and warrior until he became Primus of the Red Legion, then overthrew Emperor Calus and declared himself Dominus.
Believing the Cabal worthy of the Light, Ghaul led the Red Legion in a devastating assault on the Last City. He shattered the Tower, captured the Speaker, and caged the Traveler in a vast device meant to drain its Light for himself.
Defeat
After stripping the Guardian of their Light and forcing them across the system to reclaim it, Ghaul confronted the Traveler directly. The Traveler awoke and destroyed both Ghaul and his cage, ending the Red War.
