Nezarec, Final God of Pain is an ancient Disciple of the Witness, a being that fed on fear and pain across countless worlds.

Biography

Nezarec was elevated to a Disciple by the Witness and commanded part of its Black Fleet during the Collapse, even carrying the Veil during the assault on humanity. He was eventually betrayed and slain by Savathûn, and his cursed body was entombed within his Pyramid on the Moon.

Fallen scavengers later broke his remains into relics that were scattered across the system. When the Traveler's Light washed over the Witness's Pyramid, the power reawakened Nezarec, who manifested to haunt Neomuna.

Root of Nightmares

Guardians confronted and destroyed Nezarec in the final encounter of the Root of Nightmares raid, aboard the Witness's Pyramid ship. His influence is said to linger through the relics and nightmares tied to him.
