Description | Used in weapon shaping to enhance traits. Can be obtained from weekly campaign missions in the Throne World and The Witch Queen Offensives. Also can be purchased from the Cryptarch or Banshee-44 in the Tower. |
Ascendant Alloy is a Material Consumable. It has a maximum stack size of 10.
Acquisition
Free-to-Play
- 1 can be purchased per week from Master Rahool for
400.
- 1 can be earned by reaching Rank 16 with Banshee-44. Additional Alloys can be earned by reaching Rank 16 after resetting rank.
- 2 are given during the Reshaping the Enigma quest (although 1 must be used to upgrade
The Enigma with an Enhanced Trait, in order to complete the quest).
- 1 is rewarded for completing the Foundry Shaping quest.
The Witch Queen
- 1 is rewarded for completing the Ascendant Alloy Requisition quest.
- Can be obtained as a random drop from The Witch Queen weekly campaign missions.
- On Hero difficulty, it is a Rare drop.
- On Legend difficulty, it is an Uncommon drop.
- On Master difficulty, it is a Common drop.
- Can be obtained as an Uncommon drop from The Wellspring on Master difficulty.
Lightfall
- Can be obtained as a random drop from Lightfall weekly campaign missions.
- On Hero difficulty, it is a Rare drop.
- On Legend difficulty, it is an Uncommon drop.
- On Master difficulty, it is a Common drop.
- Lightfall + Annual Pass edition: Each "Rahool's Secret Stash" delivery (released once per Year 6 Season) includes 2 Ascendant Alloys.
Season of the Deep
- Possible drop from Salvage Legend.
Season of the Witch
- Possible drop from Savathûn's Spire on Legend difficulty.
Usage
Ascendant Alloys are used in Weapon Shaping. They are used to craft enhanced weapon traits. They are also used to craft the catalyst for the Osteo Striga Exotic Submachine Gun.
