Types of Armor Perks
- Intrinsic: For non-Exotic armor pieces, perks of this type boost specific defensive stats: Resilience, Mobility or Recovery. For Exotic Armor, perks of this type grant unique benefits to the player.
- Trait: These perks boost defensive stats further. Each armor piece will always offer a choice between two of the three Trait-type armor perks.
- Armor Perk: Present only on Year 2 armor and all Exotic armor, Armor Perks proper offer passive bonuses to the player's offensive abilities. While Exotic armor pieces have fixed perks, Year 2 non-Exotic armor pieces always have two randomly-generated Armor Perks.
- Ghost Module: Exclusive to Ghost Shells, these perks give passive benefits that increase your rewards, either directly or by detection of reward-granting objects in the world.
- Ghost Stat Tracker: Exclusive to Ghost Shells, these perks allow kills to be tracked. Unlike the trackers built into Vanguard and Crucible Masterwork Weapons, all kills by the player, not just kills by a particular weapon, are tracked.
