Mission Walkthrough
The seventh mission of the Forsaken Expansion takes place at the Tangled Shore and has the Guardian hunt down The Hangman. First, you should get a Sparrow and follow the waypoints through the platforming section up until you have reached the first objective of the mission which is to rescue Spider's people. You will have to face two outposts that are full of enemies.
After rescuing them, take the Sparrow again to the next objective marked on your map. Here, you have to rescue more servitors. More enemies will await you here so be prepared to put out a fight. To make sure you are not getting demolished by the enemies, make sure to focus the smaller enemies first and then the bigger ones. In this way, you will be able to deal with them more effectively. After freeing four out of five servitors, the Hangman will intervene and you will have to fight him.
Deplete him from one-third of his health and he should retreat, allowing you to chase him. Follow the waypoints that should lead you to the slumps and defeat the enemies in your way until you have reached the Quitter's Well. If you have a solar weapon with you, this is the best time to equip it as there would be a lot of enemies with solar shields. If you attack enemies with solar shields using a solar weapon you will create a solar blast that will deal area of effect damage to the enemies which can be really helpful. This is where the boss fight will happen as you have entered a Restricted Zone meaning that you should be extra careful because you cannot respawn here.
To defeat the Hangman quickly, make sure to focus his head and to dodge his powerful attacks using your movement abilities. Also, this is a great time to use all that special ammo and your supercharged if ready.
In order to complete this mission, you will have to defeat the Hangman and free all the remaining servitors that are being held nearby.
