It is part of the Shadowkeep Story Missions.
Mission Walkthrough
The third mission of the Shadowkeep expansion takes place on the surface of the Moon, just like the other missions and it starts off with a cinematic explaining the goal of the mission which is to hunt down a powerful creature.
After the cinematic, go forward through the Moon's valley until you have reached the Temple of Crota. Here, an Ogre and a few Nightmare Acolytes are guarding the entrance of the Temple. Focus on the Acolytes first and then deal with the Ogre.
Defeating them will unlock your way into the Temple. Be careful because right after entering, you will have to face Acolytes and a Wizard. Next, head down into the ruins of the temple and follow the waypoints until you reach the Nightmare Thralls and the Knight. Killing them will unlock the next area, where you will have to go even deeper into the depths of the temple. Be careful, because there will be many Acolytes waiting for you in the next room. Remember to use Area of Effect spells against them, as they tend to stack up.
Upon reaching The World's Grave you will have to face plenty of Nightmare Acolytes and Wizards. Do not use your supercharged right now, as it will be useful later for the boss fight. Clear the area of enemies and proceed further where the waypoints will guide you.
You will now see a red orb that is going to transform into Nightmare of Omnigul, Will of Crota, a powerful boss that shoots high-velocity orbs out of her hands. Along with her, you will have to face hordes of Acolytes, that should be dealt with first. If you saved your supercharged, this is a great time to use it and this is a beefy boss.
To complete the mission, defeat the Nightmare of Omnigul.
