Rounds Per Minute

A weapon's Rounds Per Minute stat is a measure of its ammunition expenditure and the delay between shots. A weapon's RPM is determined by its Frame. Higher RPM weapons tend to deal less damage per shot for the sake of weapon balance.
Some weapons do not have a value for RPM. They have an alternative stat.
Shotguns are the only weapons that can increase their RPM.
- Aggressive Frame shotguns increase their RPM after a kill.
- Full Auto Trigger System increases a shotgun's RPM. This interaction is unique to shotguns.
- Assault Mag increases RPM.
