Impact
From Destiny 2 Wiki
Impact determines the amount of damage that your weapon does per round. If the level of the player and the enemy are the same, a higher Impact will deal a higher amount of damage. Impact is also affected by the target's Defense and Range of the weapon vs. the distance you are from the target.
Blast Radius is used instead for Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers. It determines the explosive radius of the weapon.
