The Lectern of Divination is a vendor from the Season of the Witch.

Location

It is located in the Athenaeum in the H.E.L.M., which can be reached through a portal south of the Landing Zone. It is across from the Ritual Table.

Overview

The Lectern of Divination contains the Deck of Whispers. Opaque Cards can be collected throughout the Season of the Witch, either as rewards from The Bladed Path story quest or Major Arcana quests, as collectibles hidden within seasonal locations, or as random drops from various activities. Their identities can be revealed at the Lectern. 12 of these cards (listed at the top of the menu) will be Major Arcana cards, which each grant an associated quest. Completing the quest will unlock the card for use in the Deck of Whispers. The other 43 cards are Minor Arcana, which will either grant seasonal bonuses or various items.

Cards that have a lock icon on them cannot be obtained until certain requirements are met, such as progress through the Bladed Path quest. Cards that do not have a lock icon, but are grayed out, can be obtained. Some cards seem to be scripted to be obtained at specific points of the seasonal story, or are guaranteed to be obtained when found as collectibles.

Major Arcana

Each of the Major Arcana gives a quest that the player must complete before they can use its associated card in their deck in Altars of Summoning and Savathûn's Spire. At least 5 Major Arcana cards must be obtained before they can be used in seasonal activities. Cards can be added or removed from the deck in the Athenaeum by interacting with their pedestals. A card has been added to the deck if the fire below it is lit.

At the start of an encounter in either seasonal activity, one of the cards in the player's deck will be chosen at random, and will be displayed on a pedestal before starting the next encounter. The card that is drawn will grant a buff to all players for the duration of the encounter. If multiple players draw the same card, the buffs will stack (indicated by "x2" or "x3").

The Whispers of Power I and II Minor Arcana cards allow the player to re-draw cards up to 1 time or 2 times per activity, respectively. Interacting with the pedestal before an encounter will re-draw, randomly selecting a different card from the deck.

	Empowered Spire Crystals: Arc	Extends the timer when activating Arc crystals in Season of the Witch activities. Activating an Arc crystal blinds and jolts nearby combatants. When re-drawing, the current card is put back into the deck before the next card is drawn. This means that the re-draw may have no effect, resulting in the same card being drawn twice in a row.

	Witchcrafting	The next Season of the Witch weapon you focus at the Ritual Table will be Deepsight Resonant if possible. The Ritual Table will list the number of guaranteed Deepsight Resonance weapons remaining when focusing specific seasonal weapons.

At the Altar of Flesh, in the center of the area, there is a statue of Sathona, Savathûn's old form (seen previously in The Witch Queen campaign). The waterfalls referred to by the tooltip are on the wall behind the statue. The statue is holding a Void crystal. Destroying the crystal will reveal the card inside of it. Unlocks access to the Navigation Test in the Imbaru Engine.
	A Parting Gift	An incantation to unveil the deepest mysteries of the Imbaru Engine.	Page of Worms	In-game tooltip (visible once collected): "Found atop the pillar in the Altar of Feracity in the Altars of Summoning." At the Altar of Feracity, the card is on a pillar across from the entrance. Unlocks access to the brazier room in the Imbaru Engine, which leads to the Test of Truth and Lies. The in-game tooltip specifies that this card expires at the end of the Season of the Witch. However, it still appears on the Lectern as of the Season of the Wish. This card does not appear to count towards the total Minor Arcana cards found, as shown on the Lectern's vendor screen.
