Deep Engram is an Engram from the Season of the Deep.
Acquisition
Deep Engrams are stored on the Sonar Station's vendor screen, not in the player's engram inventory. Their quantity can be viewed using the 
Engram Tracker item.
Deep Engrams can drop when completing Salvage and Deep Dive activities. Redeeming 
Salvage Keys and 
Deep Dive Keys at the end of these activities may improve the chance for a Deep Engram to drop.
Players get a Deep Engram as a reward for each rank increase with the Sonar Station.
This engram's contents can also drop when completing a Salvage or Deep Dive activity, or when turning in fish to the aquarium in the H.E.L.M..
Upgrades
The following Sonar Station upgrades (unlocked by completing certain Seasonal Challenges listed under "Seasonal Bonuses") can affect the acquisition of Deep Engrams:
Deep Challenger: Completing a Season of the Deep weekly activity challenge grants a chance to earn an additional Deep Engram when completing activities. Resets weekly.
Deep Attraction: Completing activities grants a chance to earn an additional Deep Engram.
Forgotten Treasures: When you redeem a key in Salvage or Deep Dive activities, you have a chance to earn an additional Deep Engram.
Usage
Claiming a Deep Engram from the Sonar Station's vendor screen will immediately decrypt it into a Seasonal weapon or armor item.
With the relevant upgrades unlocked at the Sonar Station, players can focus Deep Engrams into specific seasonal engrams, weapons, and armor by purchasing those items from the Deep Engram Decoding sub-menu. The engrams are consumed when the player purchases an item.
Upgrades
The following Sonar Station upgrades (unlocked by completing certain Seasonal Challenges listed under "Seasonal Bonuses") can affect the usage of Deep Engrams:
Deep Armor Focusing: Deep Engrams can be focused into individual pieces of high-stat Season of the Deep armor.
Deep Weapon Focusing: Deep Engrams can be focused into individual Season of the Deep or Reckoning weapons. The weapon must be acquired previously in order to focus it.
