Deep Dive Key is a Seasonal Currency from the Season of the Deep. It has a maximum capacity of 9,999.
Acquisition
Deep Dive Keys can be obtained as drops when completing various activities throughout the game.
Upgrades
The following Sonar Station upgrades (unlocked by completing certain Seasonal Challenges listed under "Seasonal Bonuses") can affect the acquisition of Deep Dive Keys:
Deep Sea Locksmith: When you redeem a Salvage Key, you have a chance to earn a Deep Dive Key.
Usage
A Deep Dive Key will be automatically consumed if the player has one when opening a Deep Chest at the end of a Deep Dive activity. Using a key will grant improved rewards from the chest.
Upgrades
The following Sonar Station upgrades (unlocked by completing certain Seasonal Challenges listed under "Seasonal Bonuses") can affect the usage of Deep Dive Keys:
Forgotten Treasures: When you redeem a key in Salvage or Deep Dive activities, you have a chance to earn an additional Deep Engram.
