Partition is a weekly rotating endgame Activity introduced in Destiny 2: Lightfall. Set within the digital intersection of Neomuna's CloudArk and the Vex Network, Guardians must defend the digitally slumbering citizens from various threats.

Partition represents the ongoing battle to protect Neomuna's CloudArk infrastructure from both Vex infiltration attempts and Shadow Legion incursions. Access Requirements
To unlock Partition, players must:
- Complete the Lightfall campaign
- Complete the Hall of Heroes questline from Quinn Laghari
- Complete the "Bluejay" quest (introduces Partition mechanics)
- Weekly access requires completing "Vex Incursion Countermeasures" from Nimbus:
- Collect 8 Shellcode Fragments from Vex Incursion Zone enemies
- Obtain 1 Polymorphic Engine from Terminal Overload key chest
