Pinnacle Gear

Pinnacle Gear refers to weapon and armor rewards that will increase a character's Power level up to the Pinnacle Cap, the highest possible Power level that can be reached in the current Season (excluding bonus levels from the Seasonal Artifact).

Overview

After reaching the Soft Cap, only Powerful Gear or Pinnacle Gear can increase a character's Power. When a character has reached the Powerful Cap, Pinnacle rewards are the only way to increase a character's Power level up to the Pinnacle Cap.

Certain weekly challenges will reward Pinnacle Gear, indicated on the tooltip displayed when hovering over their respective activity or vendor in the Director. Most Pinnacle rewards will give a +2 boost to the character's Power level. However, the Commendations challenge from Suraya Hawthorne will only give a +1 Pinnacle reward.
