The Shadow Legion is a Cabal faction made up of the loyalists and followers of Emperor Calus, who pledged himself as a Disciple of the Witness.

Overview

The Shadow Legion debuted in Lightfall, leading the assault on the Neptunian city of Neomuna in service of the Witness's plan to seize the Veil. Their ranks combine devoted Cabal soldiers — many of them cloned and conditioned for obedience — with paracausal technology drawn from the Black Fleet. They appear as enemies in Lightfall and the Root of Nightmares raid, and continue to operate across the system following Calus's death.
