Overview
Game Types:
Deck
Deck is an area on the southwest side of the map. It's an important location as it contains Capture point B and a control point for Clash/Supremacy game mode. This is also an initial spawn location in competitive mode, so you can expect a lot of movement.
- Tower is on the right side of the Deck and contains one of the two Control points. It's an excellent sniping position from which you can clearly see enemies in Rocks.
- Turret is a narrow passageway on the left side of the Deck.
Bridge
Bridge connects Deck with Cave.
Cave
This is the heart of the map that connects Temple, Rocks, and Bridge. It's best used as a shortcut between different capture points, rather than a position that you should control.
Rocks
Rocks is at the far south of the map. It contains a Capture zone and a spawn location for Quickplay. Sandwiched between it and Tram lies a Capture point C, along with Clash and Supremacy point of interest. They are all in a small gondola station in which you can hold position and use windows to clear the enemies that are trying to flank you from east or south.
Tram
Tram is an open area on the east side of the map and an initial spawn zone in Competitive mode. From it, you can quickly capture 2 control points, which makes it a high traffic area. It's also an important area in Control game mode.
Temple
North from the Tram you will find Temple. It's an important area in Survival game mode.
- Dome lies above Temple. Here's where you will find Capture point A and final Clash/Supremacy control point.
Wall
Wall connects Cave with the Temple. This is another great sniping location, as it provides a good view of the battlefield while giving you enough coverage to defend yourself. On the far north, you will find an initial spawn that's used in Quickplay.
Strategies
- Vostok has a lot of open locations, making it a perfect map to test your sniping rifle. Pair it with a good shotgun, and you may already be one step ahead of the opponent.
