Solstice 2023

Solstice 2023 is the Solstice Live Event for Year 6, taking place during the Season of the Deep. It will last from July 18 to August 8, 2023.

Overview

Eva Levante is the event vendor. She can be found across from the landing zone in the Tower. She gives the player a full set of Sunlit armor and the Celebrating Solstice introductory quest.

During the event, players will earn Silver Leaves when completing activities while wearing Sunlit armor. Completing the Bonfire Bash event activity while wearing Sunlit armor will convert the Leaves to Silver Ash, which is used to re-roll the armor's stats. Event weapons and Sunlit armor items also drop from the activity.

Completing Event Challenges will reward Kindling, which can be used to upgrade Sunlit armor. This gives access to Embers that can re-roll the armor's stats in exchange for Silver Ash. Fully kindling a Sunlit armor piece will unlock a glow effect for that piece.

Unlike last year's event, Event Challenges and Kindling upgrades are now account-based, instead of per character. For example, upgrading a Sunlit Helm on a Titan using Kindling will apply the same upgrade to all current and future copies of the Sunlit Helm, Sunlit Hood, and Sunlit Mask. The total number of challenges has also been reduced from 24 to 18, with some challenges giving more than one Kindling as a reward.

Event Card

The Event Card can be accessed from the Quests tab in the Director next to the Seasonal Challenges. It can also be found on Eva Levante's vendor screen, or through the Tower icon on the Destinations map in the Director.

Event Challenges can be completed to earn Kindling for upgrading Sunlit armor items. They also give various rewards, including cosmetic items, Masterwork materials, and Event Tickets. Event Tickets can only be used on the upgraded Event Card, and expire when the event ends.

Upgraded Event Card

Players can spend Silver to upgrade their Event Card, unlocking access to several cosmetic items. This immediately grants the Solstice Event Pack, which contains the following items:

Upgrading the Event Card also allows players to use the Event Tickets earned from Event Challenges to purchase the following exclusive rewards:

Flamekeeper Triumph Seal

Completing all 18 Event Challenges will complete the Solstice Triumph Seal, unlocking the Flamekeeper title. Four additional Triumphs must be completed to gild the title. Gilding resets annually.

Reveler Triumph Seal

Completing 16 Event Challenges during Solstice events will complete the associated Triumph for the Reveler Triumph Seal. Completing all four Triumphs (including those for Guardian Games, Festival of the Lost, and the Dawning) will unlock the title of the same name.
