Report: RELIC-DATA is a Legendary Quest from The Witch Queen expansion. It is a Hidden Report quest obtained from the Evidence Board. It requires completion of the Report: RESONANCE-COMP and Trust Goes Both Ways quests to acquire.

Description

Shape Throne World weapons at the Relic in the Enclave.

The Hidden have a list of Throne World weapons that can shed light on the link between Weapon Patterns and Osmic Fragments. Use that as a guide.

Notes

• A copy of Empirical Evidence and a copy of Red Herring, both with Deepsight Resonance, are obtained from The Witch Queen campaign quest. Attuning these weapons and extracting them, or dismantling them, will unlock their Weapon Patterns.
• A copy of Likely Suspect with Deepsight Resonance is obtained from the Trust Goes Both Ways quest. Attuning and extracting it, or dismantling it, will unlock its Weapon Pattern.

3. Report: RELIC-DATA

Description

Gain Pattern unlock progress for Wellspring weapons.

Notes

• The first daily drop of a weapon from The Wellspring will be guaranteed to have Deepsight Resonance.
• The Wellspring uses a four day rotation, alternating between Attack and Defend. Each day has a specific boss, as well as a specific weapon that can drop.
  • Come to Pass drops from The Wellspring: Attack on days when Golmag, Warden of the Spring, is the boss.
  • Tarnation drops from The Wellspring: Defend on days when Vezuul, Lightflayer, is the boss.

4. Report: RELIC-DATA

Description

At the Relic in the Enclave on Mars, reshape a weapon with enhanced traits.

The Hidden believe the Osmic Fragments and the Weapon Patterns used by the Relic might be related. They need you to generate data by shaping weapons.

Notes

• As of Version 6.3.0.5, this step's objective will be completed by reshaping any shaped weapon, regardless of whether or not it has an Enhanced Trait.
• 1 Ascendant Alloy and 2,000 Resonant Elements are usually required to add an Enhanced Trait to a shaped weapon. This may vary depending on the weapon.
• Any Legendary shaped weapon can be upgraded with an Enhanced Trait. It does not need to be one of the weapons shaped during this quest.

5. Report: RELIC-DATA

Description

Report your findings to the Evidence Board in the Enclave.

It's confirmed: the Osmic Fragments are similar to the Weapon Patterns, but much weaker. It would take many Fragments to add up to one Pattern.

You confirmed that the Relic, when paired with Weapon Patterns, allows the user to reach through time, rearranging memories into weaponry. There's no telling what else it can do in the hands of a powerful entity like the Witness.

Ikora posited before that the Relic caused the temporal wounds on Mars's surface. You believe she's right, and that the Witness used the device to learn about the planet's Golden Age and Collapse, leaving Mars irreversibly damaged.

Your report states that the Weapon Patterns you used are essentially Darkness-infused "memory road maps" to the weapons the Relic creates. The Osmic Fragments are a weaker, incomplete road map—but with enough fragments, someone could build the equivalent of a Weapon Pattern.

The Relic is clearly capable of anything from creating weapons to tearing the fabric of reality. If Immaru gathers enough Osmic Fragments and finds a way to approximate the functions of the Relic—perhaps by using the runes you discovered in the Throne World—there's no telling what he might create.

  • Adjusted the pattern requirements of the “Report: Reverse-Lure" Exotic Glaive quest.
    • Recipe now only requires one portion of the required Wellspring weapons' pattern.
      • Additionally, the first daily drop of a Wellspring weapon will have Deepsight.
  • Step four of The Witch Queen quest "Report: Relic-Data" now tracks weapon shaping.
    • The requirements for reshaping a weapon with enhanced perks have been temporarily removed.
    • Reshaping any weapon will complete this objective, regardless of whether the weapon has been upgraded with enhanced perks or not.
