Nightfall Challenges

Nightfall Challenges, like most other sorts of Challenges, are always displayed in a specific order, indicated by the numbered headings below. The currently active Challenges (and Modifiers) for this week can be previewed by going to bungie.net, clicking the magnifying glass in the upper-right corner, searching for "Nightfall", and clicking one of the entries for the Nightfall version of a standard Strike (if the one you clicked doesn't display challenges, go back and click a different one).
1. Speed
- Speed of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
- Removed in version 1.1.3
2. Survival
- Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
3. Strike-Specific Challenge
- Siege Engine: Do not allow Brakion to remain shielded for more than 40 seconds before defeating it.
- The Floor Is Lava: As a fireteam, do not get hit by Protheon's fiery ground attack before defeating it.
- Faster Than Lightning: As a fireteam, defeat 9 Shanks with melee attacks before defeating Thaviks.
- Trash The Thresher: Shoot down a Thresher while fighting Bracus Zahn.
- The Best Defense: Shoot down 15 of its projectiles before defeating Savathûn's Song.
- Shielded Minotaur Challenge: Kill the Shielded Minotaurs in under 90 seconds.
- Laser Challenge: Take 5 or fewer hits from the lasers in the Atlas Grove.
