- Allows stacking of ability regeneration from different sources
- Enables aggressive ability-focused playstyles
Elemental Synergies
- Pairs excellently with Radiant Orbs for easy radiant access
- Works well with Void Hegemony for consistent Void Overshields
- Synergizes with Galvanic Armor for amplified builds
- Complements Stasis builds utilizing Frost Armor
Melee Build Examples
- Titan: Combines naturally with Synthoceps and melee-focused exotics
- Hunter: Enhances Combination Blow builds with faster melee regeneration
- Warlock: Strengthens Necrotic Grip and melee-centric builds
Strategic Value
Shieldcrush is considered a contender for the best Artifact mod in the game because:
- Elemental buffs are already desirable for their intrinsic benefits
- The perk provides passive enhancement without requiring specific actions
- Works across all three classes and multiple subclasses
- Offers both offensive and defensive playstyle support
Meta Impact
- Reinforces the importance of maintaining elemental buffs
- Encourages diverse build crafting across different elements
- Makes ability-focused builds more viable in endgame content
- Provides significant value with minimal investment
Notes
- The buffs from Shieldcrush apply to all melee and grenade abilities, including ranged melees
- Multiple defensive or offensive buffs do not stack the Shieldcrush benefit
- The perk activates immediately upon gaining the qualifying buff
- Works with both charged and uncharged abilities
