Introduction

The Farm is one of the social space's of Destiny 2. The Farm is similar to The Tower, in that it has NPCs, and activities, although it is the smallest social space.
There are only two NPCs in The Farm, as such goes as follows;

Activities

Other than talking to vendors, purchasing or retrieving items, there are numerous activities to complete while at The Farm;

  • Sentry Ranks - Upon completion, the player will be reward with a buff similar to The Tower's The Floor is Lava challenge; increased speed and significantly increased jump height.
  • Soccer / Football - You can play Soccer / Football at The Farm, just by walking over the bridge, and there are goals set up, and a Soccer / Football in the center.
  • Snowball Fight - You can have a Snowball Fight at The Farm, in the exact same area as where you can play Soccer / Football, but this is exlusive to The Dawning.

The Farm Buffs

Buff Description Type
Sentry Ranks x1-4 These Sentry ranks do not grant any noticeable buffs, but are required to start the On Scouting Patrol jump puzzle Temporary
Vertigo Completed This buff turns your Guardian blue and provides a buff to your jumping capabilities (unless you have already activated Wheel Completed) Temporary
Wheel Completed This buff turns your Guardian blue and provides a buff to your jumping capabilities (unless you have already activated Vertigo Completed) Temporary
On Scouting Patrol This indicates you have started the mini game/jump puzzle and turns your Guardian red, increases your speed and jump capabilities Temporary
Commander's Blessing This buff replaces the On Scouting Patrol indicator Permanent
Scouting Commander This buff turns your Guardian blue again, and permanently increases your guardian's speed and jump capabilities Permanent

NOTE: Buffs listed as temporary will wear off after a certain period of time, or if you die. Buffs listed at permanent will remain active until you leave The Farm or die.

How to Acquire The Farm Buffs

  1. Head straight, past the fountain, and around back of the Cryptarch's building to reach the Water Wheel.
  2. Jump through the Water Wheel and then jump onto the top of the building.
  3. Jump onto the top of the moving Water Wheel and walk in the opposite direction like a treadmill. Walk for around 7 seconds and the buffs Wheel Completed & Sentry Rank x2 will appear.
  4. Jump back onto the building the Water Wheel is attached to, and find the cables attached to the roof leading to the next building over.
  5. Walk across the cables onto the roof of the other building.
  6. Find the cables attached to THIS roof leading to yet another building.
  7. Walk across the cables onto the roof of the other building.
  8. On this building's roof, the buffs Vertigo Completed & Sentry Rank x4 will appear.
  9. Navigate to the fire pit near the docks, and approach them to see the prompt "Start Scouting Patrol".
  10. Start the Scouting Patrol, and look back to the beginning of the docks to see a large blue column of light. This will also activate the buff On Scouting Patrol.
  11. Jump into each of the blue beams of light until you make your way back onto the docks.
  12. Once you make it to the final beam of blue light located on the docks, all of your remaining buffs will be removed and replaced by the buff Scouting Commander.

  13. This buff will turn your Guardian blue and give you the permanent speed & jump boost until you leave The Farm or die.
