Clan XP is a progression system in Destiny 2 that allows Clan members to contribute experience points toward their clan's seasonal level. It also serves as a Weekly Milestone that rewards individual players for their contributions.

Overview
The Clan XP system enables clans to level up by having members complete various activities throughout Destiny 2. As clans gain levels, they unlock perks that benefit all members. Individual members can earn rewards by reaching their personal weekly contribution limit.
How to Earn Clan XP
Clan XP is earned by completing activities while in a clan:
- Story Missions
- Meditations
- Strikes
- Public Events
- Patrol Missions
- Crucible matches
- Raids
- Adventures
Fireteam Requirements
Following Season 6 changes:
- Clan XP can be earned solo or in a fireteam
- No longer requires 50% clan member fireteams
- Daily bounties are no longer needed
Weekly Limits
Personal Weekly Limit
- 5,000 XP per character per week
- Reaching the limit awards a Luminous Engram from Suraya Hawthorne
- Resets with the Weekly Reset
Clan Weekly Limit
- 100,000 XP base limit for Level 1
- Increases with each clan level:
* Level 1: 100,000 XP * Level 2: 125,000 XP * Higher levels require progressively more XP
Clan Requirements
- Minimum of 2 members required to earn Clan XP
- Clans with only 1 member cannot progress
Clan Levels and Perks
- Clan levels reset with each seasonal reset
- Perks are unlocked as the clan gains levels
- All active members benefit from unlocked perks
- Maximum clan level varies by season
Rewards
Individual Rewards
- Luminous Engram for reaching 5,000 XP weekly limit
- Access to clan perks as they unlock
Clan Activity Rewards
Completing specific activities as a clan provides additional engrams:
- 1 Crucible win
- 1 completed Nightfall
- 1 completed Raid
- 1 Trials of the Nine completion (when available)
System Evolution
The Clan XP system has undergone several changes:
Launch System
- Required fireteam participation
- Integrated into general gameplay
Forsaken Changes
- Introduction of daily clan bounties from Hawthorne
- Three bounties available daily
- Could be completed solo or in fireteams
Season 6 Return to Launch System
- Removal of daily clan bounties
- Return to earning XP through regular gameplay
- Simplified progression without bounty requirements
Known Issues
Reset Timing
- Players in activities during Weekly Reset may see XP discrepancies
- Total clan XP and personal contributions may not match if active during reset
Display Bugs
- Clan XP has been temporarily disabled in the past to address bugs
- Visual indicators may occasionally show incorrect values
Strategy Tips
- Complete activities on all characters to maximize weekly contribution
- Coordinate with clan members for group activities
- Focus on efficient activities like Public Events for quick XP
- Check with Hawthorne weekly to claim rewards
