Ash & Iron is the 28th Season in Destiny 2, released as a free update on September 9, 2025.

Introduction

Ash & Iron continued the story of The Edge of Fate and brought back the Plaguelands from the original Destiny. It introduced the Reclaim activity, a three-player cooperative mode in which resources are limited and teamwork is required, alongside a new Exotic mission, two new Exotic weapons, and a raise of the Power cap to 550. Because it was a free update, its content was available to all Destiny 2 players.
