Cayde-6 was the Vanguard Scout, removed in Forsaken. No vendors were introduced to replace him so far.

Location

Cayde could be found in two separate locations throughout the game:

• The Farm — the first social space available to the players prior to New Light. Cayde-6 arrived to the Farm after the completion of Fury story mission, and left it after the player completed the Red War campaign.
• The Tower — Cayde-6's main location prior to Forsaken. He could be found in the Hangar, staring at the sign which counts "Days Since the Last Accident". His pet chicken can be found there now.

Scout Reports

The Scout Reports detected nearby Loot Caches in a specific Destination. Each used to cost 1250.

• Scout Report: EDZ — a consumable which gave the character a buff that highlighted nearby loot caches in the EDZ for them and their fireteam.
• Scout Report: Titan — a consumable which gave the character a buff that highlighted nearby loot caches on Titan for them and their fireteam.
• Scout Report: Nessus — a consumable which gave the character a buff that highlighted nearby loot caches on Nessus for them and their fireteam.
• Scout Report: Io — a consumable which gave the character a buff that highlighted nearby loot caches on Io for them and their fireteam.
• Scout Report: Mercury — a consumable which gave the character a buff that highlighted nearby loot caches on Mercury for them and their fireteam.
• Scout Report: Hellas Basin — a consumable which gave the character a buff that highlighted nearby loot caches on Mars for them and their fireteam.
