Description
Forge Ignitions represent the process of activating and powering ancient Golden Age forges created by the Black Armory. Players must charge these forges with Radiant Batteries while fighting off waves of enemies, culminating in a boss fight against a Forge Warden. Successfully completing a forge ignition allows players to craft specific weapons using weapon frames.
Accessing Forge Ignitions
Since the Shadowkeep update, all Forge Ignitions are accessed through a single node: 1. Open the EDZ destination map 2. Look for the forge icon in the lower left corner 3. Select the icon to enter matchmaking 4. The game will match you with up to two other Guardians
The available forge rotates daily, cycling through all four forges regardless of their actual location.
