Golden Age

The Golden Age was an era of unprecedented prosperity and technological advancement in human history, made possible by the arrival of the Traveler.

Overview

After the Traveler settled over Earth, it transformed human civilization: lifespans lengthened, disease was overcome, and humanity spread across the Sol System, building colonies on Mars, Venus, the Moon, and beyond. The era produced advanced artificial intelligences known as the Warminds — among them Rasputin — and gave rise to the Exo. The Golden Age ended abruptly with the Collapse, a catastrophe that nearly destroyed humanity and forced the survivors to shelter beneath the Traveler in what became The Last City.
