Information

Eliksni Quarter is a district within the Last City on Earth in Destiny 2, introduced during Season of the Splicer. It serves as a refugee settlement for the House of Light Eliksni who have allied with humanity.

Overview

The Eliksni Quarter, also known as the Botza Ruins, represents a historic moment in Destiny's narrative - the first time Fallen have been officially welcomed within the walls of the Last City. This district was established as part of an alliance between Vanguard leadership and Mithrax, Kell of Light, who aided Guardians in combating the Vex threat during the Endless Night.

History

Establishment

During Season of the Splicer, the Last City was trapped in an Endless Night created by Quria, Blade Transform. Ikora Rey reached out to Mithrax and his House of Light for assistance, offering them sanctuary within the City in exchange for their expertise in Splicer technology. This controversial decision faced opposition from factions like the Future War Cult and its leader, Lakshmi-2.

Previous History

The location of the Eliksni Quarter was previously known as the Botza Ruins, which served as the site of the final boss encounter in the Scourge of the Past raid. The transformation of this battle-scarred area into a refugee settlement symbolizes the changing relationship between humanity and the Eliksni.
