Backup Mag is a Weapon Mod.
Acquisition
- Randomly dropped from Gunsmith Engrams;
- Occasionally sold by Banshee-44 for 10 Mod Components.
Effect
- +30 Magazine
- Cannot be applied to Combat Bows, Trace Rifles and Rocket Launchers.
Backup Mag does not provide 30 bullets to the magazine. Instead it provides +30 to the Magazine stat which is on a scale of 0-100. Different weapon families have different stat curves for the 0-100 Magazine stat. See Stats for more information on how that is calculated.
