Vile Weave is an Artifact Perk.
Acquisition
Unlocked on the Tablet of Ruin Seasonal Artifact during Episode: Heresy.
Usage
When this perk is unlocked, Tangles gain additional utility beyond their standard explosive damage:
Sever Application
- Targets hit by Tangle explosions are automatically inflicted with the
Sever debuff - Severed targets deal reduced damage to players and allies
- This provides both offensive capability through the explosion and defensive utility through damage reduction
Cooldown Reduction
- Picking up a Tangle reduces the cooldown of future Tangle generation
- This creates a positive feedback loop where using Tangles more frequently allows for more rapid Tangle generation
- Encourages active engagement with Tangle mechanics rather than passive play
This perk enhances Strand builds by making Tangles more versatile and sustainable. The combination of applying Sever debuffs and reducing cooldowns makes Tangles both more effective as crowd control tools and more readily available for frequent use.
Vile Weave synergizes particularly well with other Strand-focused artifact perks and abilities that generate or interact with Tangles, making it a valuable addition to Strand-based loadouts.
