Overview
Infamy is Gambit's progression ranking system, similar to Valor in Crucible and Vanguard Rank in Strikes. Players earn points by completing Gambit matches and bounties, with progress tracked account-wide across all characters. While Bungie officially retired the "Infamy" terminology in Season of the Lost, the community still commonly uses this term.
Rank Structure
The Gambit ranking system consists of 16 ranks across six tiers:
Rank Tiers
- Guardian (I, II, III) - Starting ranks
- Brave (I, II, III)
- Heroic (I, II, III)
- Fabled (I, II, III)
- Mythic (I, II, III)
- Legend - Single tier, final rank
