Hive Repurposing is a deprecated Armor Mod in Destiny 2 that was introduced during Season of Opulence. It provided instant grenade energy when breaking Hive enemy shields.

Effect
"Destroying a Hive shield refreshes your grenade ability"
When equipped, this mod completely refreshed the player's grenade ability upon breaking any Hive enemy's shield, regardless of the damage type used.

- Crown of Sorrow raid encounters
- Possibly from The Menagerie (unconfirmed)
Erroneous Information
Some sources incorrectly listed Last Wish raid as a source, but this mod was Hive-specific and not available from the Taken-themed raid.
Functionality
- Trigger: Complete depletion of any Hive shield
- Effect: Full grenade energy restoration
- Shield Types: Worked on all Hive shields (Solar, Arc, Void)
- Cooldown: No internal cooldown
