Currencies

Currencies are used to buy items, quests and bounties from vendors, or to upgrade weapons and armor. Currently, there are four types of currency in the game.

Glimmer is the primary currency, which can be used to buy from nearly every vendor in the game.

Legendary Shards can be obtained by dismantling items of a certain quality prior to The Final Shape.

Silver is used to buy cosmetic items from the Eververse, and is purchased with actual money.

Bright Dust is used to buy cosmetic items from the Eververse, and can be obtained by playing the game.

Upgrade Points were used to buy character abilities before the New Light update.

Some items, like Ghost Fragments, can also be used as a currency by certain vendors.
