Perpetual Destruction is an Artifact Perk.

Acquisition

Unlocked on the Tablet of Ruin Seasonal Artifact during Episode: Heresy Act 3.

Usage

When this perk is unlocked, achieving rapid final blows with non-Exotic Rocket Launchers provides two significant benefits:

Ammo Refund

  • Rapid final blows partially refund rocket ammunition directly to the magazine
  • Allows for extended use of Rocket Launchers without reloading
  • Reduces dependency on heavy ammo pickups during sustained combat

Reload Speed Enhancement

  • Increases reload speed for a short duration after triggering the perk
  • Improves the overall damage output cycle when combined with the ammo refund
  • Makes Rocket Launchers more viable for sustained damage phases

Weapon Compatibility

  • Only works with non-Exotic Rocket Launchers
  • Legendary Rocket Launchers from all sources are compatible
  • Does not function with Exotic Rocket Launchers such as Gjallarhorn, Wardcliff Coil, or Truth

This perk significantly enhances the viability of Legendary Rocket Launchers by addressing their primary limitation: ammunition sustainability. The combination of ammo refund and faster reloads makes non-Exotic Rocket Launchers competitive options for sustained damage output.

Perpetual Destruction is part of the Act 3 additions to the Tablet of Ruin, expanding the artifact's focus beyond the Arc, Void, and Strand elements that dominated earlier acts.
