"Meditations" was removed from Destiny 2 in Season of the Outlaw icon.pngForsaken.

Meditations were an activity that allowed the players to replay story missions from base game, Curse of Osiris and Warmind. They were removed in Forsaken.

Overview

Meditations were unlocked by talking with Ikora Rey after completing the Red War campaign.

Ikora offered 2-3 Story Missions, rotating on a weekly basis. Choosing a mission locked the player out of the others until the one they picked was completed. Interacting with a device next to Ikora started the mission. Upon completion, the player received an Upgrade Point, if they still had some skills to unlock, and 3 Vanguard Research Tokens.

Meditations were replaced with a new mode in Forsaken. The Daily Heroic Story Missions mode from the Vanguard Director served the same purpose, but with no reward, until it was removed in Beyond Light.

Patch History

  • 1.0.1.3[1]
    • Fixed an issue where completing a Meditation before selecting it from Warlock vendor icon.png Ikora Rey would hide that Meditation and prevent players from completing it receiving appropriate rewards.
