This engram will contain a powerful weapon and piece of armor, with a high chance of Exotics.
Luminous Vanguard Engrams are the type of Luminous Engrams which is claimed upon completion of the Heroic Strikes Weekly Milestone from Commander Zavala. They reward Powerful Gear (i.e. items with base Attack/Defense values guaranteed to be higher than those of your current items, up to a hard cap).
Rewards
- 1 Armor piece from any Armor set present in the Vanguard Tactician Engram (or an Exotic Armor piece)
- 1 Weapon exclusive to Vanguard Tactician Engrams (or an Exotic Weapon)
As with all Legendary item awards, non-Exotic weapons and armor from Luminous Vanguard Engrams have a chance to be converted into Masterwork Weapons or Masterwork Armor pieces before being awarded.
