Kill the Messenger is an Exotic Quest from the Season of the Risen. It is unlocked after completing Week 1 of the Operation Elbrus seasonal story quest. It grants access to the Vox Obscura Exotic mission, as well as the Dead Messenger Exotic Grenade Launcher.

A Psionic propaganda message is emanating from a decommissioned Cabal installation on Mars. It exhorts Empress Caiatl's legions to mutiny.Shut down the Psionic signal, and find out who's attempting to destabilize the Cabal/Vanguard coalition.

Description
Go to the Throne World destination in the Director and launch the "Vox Obscura" Exotic quest on Normal difficulty.
Complete the "Vox Obscura" Exotic quest.
A mysterious foe seeks to sabotage Empress Caiatl's rule… and weaken the Sol system in advance of the coming Darkness.
Brave the treacherous landscape of the Red Planet to learn who would dare cross the united forces of the Cabal legions… and the Vanguard.
