Information
Season 1
Type Traits
Description Reloading after a kill grants increased damage.

Kill Clip is a Weapon Perk.

Effect

Trigger Condition

Kill Clip triggers upon reload within 3.5s of a final blow.

Reloading after a kill while Kill Clip is active will refresh Kill Clip.

Active

  • 25% increased damage[1]
  • 5.0s duration; can be refreshed

Analysis

Kill Clip's sister perk, Multikill Clip is a close alternative which does allow refreshing.

Kill Clip strongly synergizes with perks and setups that buff reload speed or trigger on-reload effects. Perks and abilities like Outlaw, Rapid Hit, and Marksman's Dodge are favorable pairings.

Kill Clip is powerful in a PvP setting since the one kill requirement is a low barrier to entry to a massive damage buff. In a PvE context, it may be preferable to use a perk like Rampage or One for All which do not break the flow of combat with the need for constant reloads.
