Kill Clip is a Weapon Perk.

Being in combat for an extended time increases damage, handling, and reload for this weapon until you are out of combat.

Trigger Condition

Kill Clip triggers upon reload within 3.5s of a final blow.

Reloading after a kill while Kill Clip is active will not refresh Kill Clip.[1] A guardian must therefore let the buff completely expire before attempting to trigger it.

  • 33% increased Damage in PvE[2]
  • 30% increased Damage in PvP[1]
  • 5.0s duration; cannot be refreshed

Kill Clip's duration cannot be refreshed unlike perks like Rampage and Swashbuckler. Kill Clip's sister perk, Multikill Clip is a close alternative which does allow refreshing.

Kill Clip strongly synergizes with perks and setups that buff reload speed or trigger on-reload effects. Perks and abilities like Outlaw, Rapid Hit, and Marksman's Dodge are favorable pairings.

Kill Clip is powerful in a PvP setting since the one kill requirement is a low barrier to entry to a massive damage buff. In a PvE context, it may be preferable to use a perk like Rampage or One for All which do not break the flow of combat with the need for constant reloads.
