Acquisition
Unlocked on tier 3 of the Hunter's Journal Seasonal Artifact during Episode: Echoes.
Usage
Solar Sniper Rifle precision hits apply Scorch to targets. This allows Solar Sniper Rifles to trigger Ignitions with sufficient Scorch stacks.
Scorch Application
- Base Scorch stacks: 25 per precision hit
- With Ember of Ashes: 35 per precision hit (Solar subclasses only)
- Multiple precision hits can trigger Ignitions

- Exceptional with Whisper of the Worm for sustained DPS
- Pairs perfectly with Still Hunt for massive damage potential
- Works well with IKELOS Sniper Rifle for rapid fire applications
- Synergizes with Solar subclass fragments that enhance Scorch
